The Whiteley in Bayswater officially launched residential sales today. Knight Frank and Savills are instructed on the sales.
The 1.1 million square foot scheme includes homes that will range in size from one to five bedrooms, with penthouse offerings also available. Starting prices for the apartments will be in the region of £1.5m. In addition to the apartments, there will also be 14 Six Senses–branded residences in the building together with an 110 room hotel. The entire scheme will be finished by the end of 2023.
The Whiteley is a joint venture development between MARK (formerly Meyer Bergman) and Hong Kong-based C C Land. Finchatton is acting as development manager. The renowned architects Foster + Partners designed the new Whiteley London, meticulously restoring its façade so that some of the building’s history remains.
This £1billion development of the former department store is considered as one of the most important projects in the area. It is expected that it will have a positive impact on the regeneration of Bayswater.
